Currently serving as a Project Coordinator at ECOPA, Amira has been instrumental in managing and coordinating significant projects in Regional & Urban Planning, Landscape & Urban Design, and Architectural Renovation. 

Mayada Sharabas is a highly accomplished GIS Consultant, Project Manager, and Academic with over 20 years of experience specializing in the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Urban Planning & Design. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design & GIS Development from Ain Shams University (2019), with a thesis focused on the conformity of Egypt's environmental regions to sustainable practices. Mayada’s expertise is defined by her ability to lead large-scale, multi-million pound geospatial initiatives and translate complex spatial data into actionable strategies for national planning, urban harmony, and sustainable development. 

Noran Ali is a development economist and governance expert with over 20 years of experience advancing sustainable finance, institutional reform, and inclusive economic growth. Her career spans strategic roles in equity research, credit analysis, and corporate governance, with a consistent focus on aligning financial systems with national development goals. Holding a Master’s degree in Economics in International Development from the American University in Cairo, Noran brings a nuanced understanding of socio-economic resilience, policy design, and stakeholder engagement. She is certified in ESG strategy and sustainable finance, and is deeply committed to leveraging economic tools to foster locally grounded, equitable development across Egypt and the region.

Ahmad El-Fadaly is a senior technology and business strategist with over two decades of experience across aerospace, telecommunications, and digital innovation. His expertise spans satellite communications, remote sensing, phased array antenna design, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on integrating advanced technologies into scalable business solutions. Ahmad has held leadership roles at Thales Aerospace, Orbit Showtime Network, Orange Business Services, and Alcatel-Lucent, where he led complex technical programs and cross-functional teams. Ahmad holds advanced engineering degrees and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Fluent in English, French, and Russian, he brings a global perspective to technology-driven development and innovation.

Mohammad Abou Samra is an architect, urban planner, and urban development expert with over 30 years of experience shaping inclusive, sustainable cities across Egypt and the Arab region. His work bridges vernacular architecture, appropriate planning, and community-driven development, with a particular focus on housing and urban upgrading at all scales. Mohammad has led transformative initiatives in new city planning, informal settlement upgrading, adaptive reuse, placemaking, and socio-economic development, drawing on deep field experience and strategic insight. He previously served with UN-Habitat Egypt, where he managed four major projects and led the “Housing and Urban Upgrading” programme, and with GIZ Egypt’s Participatory Development Programme. 

Eslam Nabil is an architect and urban planner with five years of experience in heritage-sensitive modernization and urban design. Currently working with ECOPA, he has contributed to several architectural rehabilitation projects in Cairo, focusing on buildings from the 1960s and mid-century modern heritage. Eslam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Ain Shams University and brings a thoughtful, context-driven approach to planning and design, balancing contemporary needs with historical integrity.
